Can you match my existing trim?

Shoe moulding and quarter-round are two names for the same job: the slim strip pinned against the baseboard to cover the floor's expansion gap. Baseboard is the taller trim itself. Floating floors — LVP, laminate, engineered hardwood — need a gap at every wall, and that gap gets covered one of two ways: new shoe over the existing baseboard, or baseboard removed and reinstalled on top of the new floor.
